GreenCharge is a solar powered phygital charging station designed for busy public transport areas. It offers fast and secure charging through weather-resistant materials, lockable transparent boxes, and USB-A/USB-C ports with clear voltage information. Its digital features like an easy instruction screen, LED indicators showing availability, and integration with M-Indicator help users quickly find and operate the kiosk. By using solar energy with battery backup, GreenCharge ensures reliable, eco-friendly charging throughout the day.
Challenge :
Ensuring continuous power supply during low sunlight, maintaining the units in high-footfall public spaces, and gaining user trust regarding device security while keeping the station vandal proof and easy to operate.
